When should I book a milestone session?

Milestone sessions are best booked 4–6 weeks in advance to ensure availability. If you’re planning a First Birthday session, booking a little earlier is recommended so we have time to plan the details.

Where do I start when planning a First Birthday session?

Don’t worry! You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Once your First Birthday session is booked, you’ll receive a complete First Birthday Prep Guide that walks you through everything from outfit ideas and color palettes to cake smash tips and simple setup inspiration.

Do milestone sessions take place indoors or outdoors?

Most milestone and First Birthday sessions take place in the studio, especially cake smash sessions since they can get a little messy. However, depending on the weather and the type of session you’re envisioning, I’m always happy to capture your baby outdoors as well. If you have a specific look in mind, we can talk through options when planning your session.

Every session includes a set number of carefully edited digital images. If you find yourself loving more (which most families do), additional images are always available for purchase.
