Hudson Newborn
This session was so very special to me. I use to work with Hudson's mom and she was one of the first people to know that I was pregnant with my son over two years ago. Once I moved back home, Becka and I never lost contact. I have captured her and her husband through so many stages in life.
I have worked with this family for their engagement, wedding, and maternity photos so we have gotten to know each other pretty well. Becka and Brandon came to my studio in mid-December. They had quite a bit of time before they were due with their sweet baby boy. I was very surprised when I got a message from Becka not even two weeks after their maternity session, telling me that Hudson had made his arrival. I was over the moon for them, because I just knew that they were going to be the perfect parents!
Just like all birth stories, there's a little bit of excitement. Brandon was working his job in the medical field when Becka went into labor and she couldn't get ahold of him. They had tried everything, but no answer. The situation ended in Becka having to call the sheriff's department to page Brandon, letting him know that his little guy decided to come a little early! One call to the sheriff's office, 20 hours of labor, and a cesarean birth led to the birth of little Hudson.
